READI+ project

READI+ refers to Racial Equity, Accessibility, Diversity, and Inclusion.

The READI+ project aims to develop innovative ways to adapt and redesign services and programs so they can serve better all communities, especially ones that have been historically underserved. Central to READI+ is the belief in the expertise of community voices to shape safe, inclusive, and pertinent services. Through community outreach and engagement, research, and clinical supports, the project is building a new approach to help solve complex problems more efficiently and collaboratively.

The READI+ project was launched in 2023, funded by the Government of Canada’s Community Services Recovery Fund. The initial project was led by Alice Audrain, MA, and further supported by Ruby Alguire, MSW, RSW, with organizational support from Interwoven Connections. Interwoven supports the goals and learnings from the READI+ project and continues to implement the community resources developed by READI+ in its own community outreach and engagement practices.

READI+ resources can be used and shared by any organization or agency seeking to better serve communities.
